DLF to launch its luxury residential project, The Crest, at DLF Phase 5 on Golf Course Road in Gurgaon.

DLF has engaged one of the leading landscape design firms, GCH ( USA), to design the landscape at The Crest. The resort-like landscaping is one of the most spectacular features of The Crest — with perfectly manicured gardens covered with a blanket of rich green foliage, walkways, shaded sitting areas and the captivating fragrance of fresh flowers. Designed to be in harmony with the local climate, the lush, tree-shaded swimming lagoon and clubhouse complex are designed to be slightly sunken into the earth, providing protection and retreat from the outside world. The central waterfall drowns out distracting sounds, and "soothes the soul as one dips into one of the swimming pools.

The interiors of the apartments also stand out due to the emphasis on space and comfort. The 3 BHK and 4BHK apartments have a floor-to-floor height of 3.2 metre (around 10 feet 6 inches). The double-glazed windows keep the apartments cool and drown out outside noise. The spokesman said that the structure has been designed for the highest seismic resistance of Zone V, against the BIS stipulated Zone IV.
